We’re a group of passionate mountain guides in love with the wilderness and beauty of the Vercors massif. Let us take you on an adventure you’ll never forget – there’s something for everyone! The first part of our name, ‘Hors Sentier’ means ‘off the beaten track’ and we want to take you on an adventure to the secret corners of Vercors! We believe that walking off the beaten tracks in isolated and wild parts of the mountain is the perfect way to connect ourselves to nature.

Walking – a carbon free activity
Our beautiful mountain ecosystem is fragile. The mountain resources are limited and impacted by climate change. By getting a better understanding of this ecosystem, we are increasing our awareness of the human impact on it.
All of our guides are familiar with the Natural Park codes and we will always observe a minimum distance so not to disturb the native wildlife.
We strongly recommend you travel to us via train since it’s the most environmentally friendly means of transport. The cost of your trip includes carbon offsetting.
